BOOK FOR BOOK – Exchange a Book, Share a Story 1.11.2026

On November 1, Bulgaria’s National Awakeners’ Day, Mall Veliko Tarnovo invites you to “Book for Book” – an event celebrating the joy of reading, the sharing of stories, and the connections that books inspire.

The initiative is an opportunity to give a book you have already read a new home, discover your next favourite title, exchange recommendations, and connect with fellow book lovers.

How to take part in the book exchange

• Bring one contemporary work of fiction in good condition that you are ready to share with another reader.
• Leave your book on the specially prepared exchange table and choose another available title – one book for one book.
• If you wish, add a short note for the next reader with a personal message or recommendation.

Please note: Only contemporary works of fiction in good condition are accepted. Textbooks, magazines, catalogues, and damaged books are not accepted.

Our youngest visitors can also take part in a creative workshop where they will make their own bookmarks and add a personal touch to their reading adventures.
